Renee-Azerbegi

Renée Azerbegi inspires clients to create high-performing buildings with her passion for sustainability and technical leadership. She consults on net-zero energy and carbon strategies, decarbonization, renewable energy, electrification, and sustainability planning for aviation, federal, municipal, state, and transit clients. Renée has managed over 20 LEED Platinum and over 20 net-zero energy projects. She is an industry speaker and author on energy management, sustainability, air quality and resiliency.

Renée has been a contributing member of the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED for Airports committee, has been appointed to be on the City of Denver’s Sustainable Advisory Board, and is an active member of AIA Colorado, being the co-chair for the Committee on the Environment and helping to create their first Sustainability Awards.

Renée has degrees in Environmental Science (undergraduate) and in Building Systems Engineering (masters) from the University of California Berkeley and the University of Colorado Boulder, respectively.
